Regina Askia
She, in my opinion, she remains the queen of 90s Nollywood. Regina hit the limelight after emerging second place in the 1988 Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria (MBGN) contest. After a successful modeling career, she joined Nollywood and hit her big break in 1993, playing gold-digger – Tokunbo Johnson in the soap opera, Fortunes on NTA Network. She went on to star in several classic movies to include ''Most Wanted”, “The President’s Daughter” and “Dangerous Babe”. Regina has since edited the movie world but remains an icon to date.
Eucharia Anunobi
Eucharia was in the second in command of the bad girls in Nollywood. The actress gained major fame following her breakout role in 1994’s “Glamour Girls” and went on to star in some of the most scandalous scenes of 90s Nollywood to include “Abuja Connection”, “Society Ladies”, and “Desire”.
Shan George
Shan was a diva in every way possible. The light-skinned beauty made her entrance into the movie world with her role in the film “Thorns of Rose” in 1997. She did not stop as she continued to show her prowess in the entertainment scenes going on to star in other movies to include “Church Business”, “Searching For Love” and the movie “A Stranger Between Two Brothers” earned her her ribbon as one of Nollywood’s resident bad girls.
