Being born into theatre practitioner’s family, Ayo Olaiya is a multi-talented actor, scriptwriter and an entrepreneur.
His parents co-founded a local theatre group called Oluwalomona Eda Theatre Group.
Ayo being the third child in a family of five, was born born on February 26.
He attended Oke Odo college and also obtained a bachelor’s degree in Entreprenuerial and Business Management.
The professional actor joined the Nigerian movie industry in 2004.
One of the movies that shot him to the limelight is “Wura Mi” and had also participated in several movies such as Eyan kan, Above Rubbies, The Target, Olowogbogboro, Exchange, and lot more
Ayo has worked with the professionals such as Bukunmi Oluwasina, Kenny George, Jumoke Odetola and many others.
Due to his hardwork in the industry, he has won and was nominated for several awards such as
City People Movie Award (2015)- he won the Best New Actor of the Year (Yoruba sector)
City People Movie Award (2017)- he won the most Promising Actor of the Year
City People Movie Award (2019)- he won the Best Supporting Actor of the Year
