There is no doubt that the former Governor of Edo State, Lucky Igbinedion is one of the ex-governors in Edo State who contributed immensely to the development of the State.

Born Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion on May 13, 1957, he holds Bachelor degree in Marketing from the prestigious University of Wyoming, Laramie, United States in 1982 and subsequently bagged his Master's degree from Jackson State University, Mississippi in the United States.

Lucky Igbinedion is the son of Gabriel Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin Kingdom. He emerged the executive Governor of Edo State on May 29, 1999 and was in office till May 29, 2007, spending two tenure of eight years. 

The former Edo Governor is also a proud father who has trained grown up children making him proud. One of his adorable daughters is, Ehi Igbinedion who is a professional medical doctor. 

Ehi Igbinedion became popular when she tied the nuptial knot with her beau, Dr Femi Oni, who is also a professional medical doctor. 

Their union was the coming together of two professional medical doctors and their wedding was indeed a glamorous one. The groom is a proud Yoruba man.
