1. Sir Victor Uwaifo
The first celebrity on the list who died in his 80s was a veteran highlights musician that died on the 28th of August 2021, Victor Uwaifo. He was born on the 1st of March 1941, in Benin State. He was the first professional musicians to be awarded the National Merit Honours of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON). He died on the 28th of August 2021, at the age of 80.
2. Dan Nkoloagu
The second veteran Nigerian celebrity on my list who died in his 80s was a veteran actor, filmmaker, and movies producer from Enugu State, Dan Nkoloagu. He was born in 1937. And he died on the 22nd of January 2021, at the age of 84.
3. Adebayo Faleti
The third veteran Nigerian celebrity on my list who died in his 80s was a renowned journalist, poet, and actor, Adebayo Faleti. He was the former General Manager and the Film Editor at the National Television Authority (NTA). He died on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at the age of 86.
4. Jimoh Aliu
The fourth veteran Nigerian celebrity on my list who died in his 80 was a Popular Yoruba actor, producer, and singer, Jimoh Aliu, popularly known as Aworo. He was born on November 11, 1939, in Okemesi, Ekiti West Local Government Area of Ekiti State. He died on the 17th of September 2020, at the age of 81.
5. Jimmy Johnson
The last veteran Nigerian celebrity on the list who died in his 80s was a popular actor, writer, and broadcaster, Jimmy Johnson, popularly known as Okoro. He was born in 1940. He died on July 8, 2020, after complications from surgery in Abuja, at the age of 80.
