Well the second lady of our country turned 53 today and I am hyped about it.
Mrs Dolapo was born on the 15th of July 1967 and is the granddaughter of late Obafemi Awolowo. I bet you never knew that right. Well now you do, she is the granddaughter of one of Nigeria's finest nationalists and Yoruba's finest chiefs.
She grew up in Ikenne Ogun state and on the 25th of November 1989 at age 22, she tied the knot with Yemi Osibanjo. A year after, the second lady of Nigeria was called to the Nigerian bar.
She became second lady on the 29th of May 2015 after her husband became the 14th vice president of the country. As second lady, Dolapo has championed girl child rights and most remarkably, the fight against tuberculosis.
It might interest you to know that His excellency Mr Vice president is ten years older than his lovely wife.
Mrs Dolapo is the mother of three fantastic kids; a son Fiyinfunoluwa and two daughters Damilola and Kanyinsola. Though a Christian family, Damilola is married to a Muslim, Oluseun Bakare. Moreso, as second lady, she inaugurated the Mama Abyol's children's home and Benue center for Enterprise, Development and innovation.
She has been described by her kids as a caring, prayerful and ever supportive Mum.
Happy birthday Ma!
