The comedic series which centered around the life of Papa Ajasco and his family also boasted of other interesting characters, prominent among them was a young man named, Boy Alinco.
The very interesting role of Boy Alinco was played by a man named, Bayo Bankole. Though he later quit the series after many years playing the role, a lot have wondered what became of him. We will be taking a close look at the life of Bayo Bankole.
Bayo Bankole is a Nigerian actor who rose to fame playing the famous role of Boy Alinco on Wale Adenuga's Hit Comedy series, Papa Ajacso and Company.
He began his acting career in the early 1990's by taking up small roles in movies. He also appeared in stage plays at the beginning of his career. Bayo had his big break and was immediately catapulted to fame when he was cast as the famous "Boy Alinco", an egocentric and materialistic young man in the series.
After many years of playing the character, Bayo Bankole bid farewell to the series. A lot would have thought he would leave to take up more challenging roles in the movie industry but were surprised at his total disappearance from the movie scene.
Years later, Bayo Surfaced on the internet as it was revealed that he had relocated permanently to the United States of America, which he stated was for the betterment of his life and that of his family. He is doing very well alongside his family and currently runs a programme called Afroville which is aired on an Atlanta Based Radio station. He also acts movies occasionally and also anchors shows and events.
