According to the document which was signed, stamped, and sealed by the governor, the reason for the declaration was to honor the NOWO croner for his amazing achievement in music and his part in culture influence.
Some of his achievements includes becoming the first african artist to sell out tickets to the skyway theatre Minneapolis, making a billboard number one hit song ONE DANCE with Drake. Selling out the O2 Arena London, walking the runway model for dolce and Gabbana, and also winning other international award unmentioned.

Wizkid got the day 6th of october every year as Wizkid world day. Wizkid , who has an unreleased album which is to be released the 15th of this month, with the album name MADE IN LAGOS. The world expects hit songs from his Album after we heard NO STRESS a pre released song from the album
