Nigerian highlife artist Adekunle Kosoko with the stage name Adekunle Gold is set to release another album 2 years after his last album. He announced on his Instagram page that he will be releasing the album titled Afro Pop Vol. 1 on August 21st of this year.
The talented singer came to limelight in 2015 when he released a single Sade under his former label YBNL Nation owned by another nigerian artist Olamide Badoo and since then he has released a lot of other songs like Orente, Pick up and Life of a Star which he featured his colleague in the label Lil kesh.
In 2016, under the same label he released his first album titled Gold which has about 16 tracks, some of which are Friend zone, Nurse Alabere, My life, Pick up.
In 2017, he left YBNL after the expiration of his signing contract. He later created his own record label . And in 2018 he released his second album, "About 30" which has tracks like Ire, Damn Delilah, Surrenda and so on.
Adekule is not just a singer, he is also a songwriter and a graphic designer.
He is married to a fellow singer, Similar and the couple recently welcome their baby girl, Adejare.
He is a talented artist with a nice voice and rich words in his music and I believe the album will do well just lime others even when he was still signed under someone else record label.
I can wait for him to release the album and see what he has in stuck for us this time around.
