Today marks one year since Ada Ameh lost her daughter, Aladi Godgift Ameh, so she visited her daughter's grave with flowers in remembrance of her. The Nollywood actress was accompanied by her friend and colleague, Empress Njamah.
In the video which was shared by Empress Njamah on her verified Instagram page, she said that it has not been easy since Ladi left, and that her mother hurts everyday. She said that her mother still soaks her pillow with tears, but that they cannot question God. She added that she knows Ladi is in a better place, and that they miss her.
On October 20th, 2020, it had come as a surprise to many when the actress announced that she has lost her child.
The Benue State-born star had confirmed the demise on her Instagram page, and had asked members of the public to pray for her.
Aladi was in her 30s, and was a makeup artist before she died. Ada Ameh had her when she was 14, and she said that Ladi is irreplaceable. During an interview, she said that Ladi was more of a friend to her than a daughter, and that they practically grew up together.
We pray for God to continue giving Ada Ameh the strength to bear the huge loss, and for Ladi's soul to continue resting in peace.
