Big Brother Naija star Maria Chike Benjamin was called out recently for claiming that popular singer David Adeleke, also known as Davido, is her man, in a recent trending video online, but the following explains why she said so:
She's obviously congratulating him over his donation:
It's no news that Davido has set up a committee that will oversee the distribution of the two hundred million naira that he's been given by his friends and loved ones, in addition to the fifty million naira from himself, which totals the whole money to be two hundred and fifty million naira, a lot of people congratulated him for that, including Maria.
In the video, she was obviously calling him her man due to the generosity he displayed, just like Yul Edochie, Tunde Ednut, Reno Omokri every other person who also declared their love for him.
Although the misconception came because she's a celebrity and has also been in the media recently after a rumoured relationship with one Kelvin, it would have been the other way round if it were another person.
