However, White Money's "Rome wasn't built in a day", as he didn't just become a celebrity overnight. The former BBNaija housemate once did several menial jobs before he became what he is today, and in this article, we would be taking a look at how White Money went from working as a barber and okada rider to being a multi-millionaire celebrity.
According to White Money, lack of tertiary education led to his early struggles, as he couldn't look for a white-collar job since he ended his education at the secondary level. This led to him picking up menial jobs to survive and one of the jobs he did was a commercial motorcyclist, popularly known as Okada-rider. Not only did he worked as an Okada-rider, but also worked as a barber, as he allegedly combined both businesses, doing his barbing work in the day, and okada riding at night just to survive.
Even Nigerian veteran actor, Fred Amata, confirmed this in a report published by PUNCH, where he disclosed how he met White Money at the Lagos Stadium, and made him his personal hairstylist because of how talented he is.
However, White Money's major breakthrough came after he was accepted as one of the housemates in the Big Brother Naija Show.
On the day he was unveiled as one of the housemates, White Money became popular across the country, as celebrities and other prominent people, who he had previously worked for, identified him as a talented and hard-working individual. This is one of the reasons why he had a huge fanbase and probably the reason why he won the BBNaija season 6 show.
Today, Hazel Oyeye Onou is N90 million richer and could become a billionaire in years to come.
