Undoubtedly, fans of BBN reality stars are massively surprising their faves with cash gifts, wears, cars, and other things ever since the season 6 show ended.

One of the BBN season 6 housemates, Maria has received surprises from her fans in Ghana. In a video shared on Instagram, the reality star was spotted with her fans who presented her with Cedis. In her words, "I'm not doing this with you guys, keep your money, do not give me your money."

However, a lot of people have reacted to Maria's statement due to how it sounded and how people seem to understand it. But here's why Maria told her fans to keep their money.
Following Maria's recent statement, I don't think she meant to depreciate her fans' cash gifts in the first place. Maybe she doesn't see it must for fans to surprise her with cash gifts when they can as well bring other potable items. In other words, there are less privileged out there who really need the cash instead of giving someone who already has more.

Ordinarily, these fans aim to show how they love their fave BBN reality star, but, I don't think is compulsory to go to the extreme length to prove it because a lot of claims have been made that Maria was already a big girl before the reality show due to how she started flaunting cash and other expensive things on her Instagram page after her exit from the show.
