We are about to know the mystery behind the death of Baba Ara, popularly known as the king of gospel music in his life time. His real name is Roland Olubukola Olomola who hailed from Ijeshaland. He was a member of Celestial Church of Christ.
Baba Ara lyrics was outstanding and he produces good messages. Some of his contemporaries are Lanre Teriba, Tope Alabi and so on. Baba Ara's last international show was the one held in Paris, France before his demise.
However, there are controversy about the death of Baba Ara. Some people believed that he was caught carrying cocaine and in the process the particles of the cocaine exploded in his stomach, which eventually killed him.
Some are also of the opinion that Baba Ara died in his Shagamu's home after consuming poison which eventually killed him.
This made his death to be a mystery which still deserve an answer today. He passed on in 2004, in is Shagamu home. May Almighty God bless his soul.
