Chude Jideonwo, a self-made and highly successful businesswoman, was recently questioned by Toke Makinwa about young people today who want to succeed without putting in the effort.
"You have no idea how many years Wizkid has put in to become the man he is today. Young beginners try music for a year or two and are disappointed when it does not work... When I tell folks about you, buddy... I was at Rhythm, and Wizkid used to bring speakers, and DJs would send him to get Amala, and he'd do it because he was the studio rat, and he'd say, "Just help me play my song," and he'd do it. People now look at him and think he's arrogant, without realizing the amount of effort he put into this journey, "Toke Makinwa emphasized.
"It's the same way people can look at me now and say I've had it easy, but if you've been following my career and seeing the hard work I've put in, you should ask me what I'm doing with my life if I'm not enjoying what I'm enjoying now because of my hard work," she continued.
