Peter Okoye whose stage name is now Mr. P was born on the 18th of November, 1981 in Jos, Nigeria and he hails from Ifite, Dunu in Anambra State of Nigeria. He attended St. Murrumba secondary school in Jos, Nigeria where he began his music journey into stardom by joining a drama club with his brother. He later went to the University of Abuja where he studied Business Administration.
