Music is regarded to be a message that is broadcast to all ears. Although not every piece of music has meaningful word that may be regarded as a message, the musician is the messenger and you, as the listener, are the recipient.

The likes of Falz, Burna Boy, and Idris Abdul Kareem have use their music to enlighten us on what is happening in our society. In light of this, I will be sharing with you some of the song that reveal what is happening in our society.

Falz – This Is Nigeria: He used this song to bring attention to every aspect of the Nigerian phenomenon. He cover a wide range of topic, including men of God, corruption in SARS operation, and other pressing issues.

Eedris Abdul Kareem-Nigeria Jaga Jaga: The artist utilize this song to educate everyone, especially the youth. He talked about what is going on in our society and what the majority of people are going through in the country.

Falz – Child Of The World: Falz use this song to tell the narrative of a woman who started her life in a good way but goes astray after meeting an elderly, stupid uncle. After discovering the consequence of her dirty profession, she became unhappy and contemplated suicide. This is a reality in our society.
