Tiwatope Savage, born 5 February 1980, known professionally as Tiwa Savage, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress. Born in Isale Eko, she relocated to London at the age of 11 for her secondary education. Five years later, she began her music career doing backup vocals for artists such as George Michael and Mary J. Blige . After participating in the UK edition of The X Factor and graduating from Berklee College of Music , Savage signed a publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing in 2009. Inspired by the growth of the Nigerian music industry, Savage moved back to Nigeria and signed with Mavin Records in 2012. She made an appearance on the label's 2012 compilation album Solar Plexus.
Her debut studio album Once Upon a Time was released on 3 July 2013. It was supported by seven singles such as "Kele Kele Love ", "Love Me (3x)", "Without My Heart", "Ife Wa Gbona", "Folarin", "Olorun Mi" and "Eminado ". The album was nominated for Best Album of the Year at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards and for Best R&B/Pop Album at The Headies 2014. Savage's second studio album R.E.D was released on 19 December 2015. It yielded two singles such as "My Darlin" and "Standing Ovation". In June 2016, Savage signed a management and publishing deal with Roc Nation . In September 2017, she released her debut EP Sugarcane . R.E.D and Sugarcane have both been nominated for Best Album at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
In November 2018, Savage won Best African Act at the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards , becoming the first woman to win the category. In May 2019, she announced her record deal with Universal Music Group and exit from Mavin Records. Savage sings in English and Yoruba; her music is a blend of Afrobeats , R&B , pop and hip-hop. Savage's contributions to the Nigerian music industry have earned her several achievements . She has been involved in youth empowerment and breast cancer screening projects and has raised funds to build schools in Nigeria.
She has done good songs in worldwide shows and is also a brand name ambassador to Maggi, Forte Oil, Pepsi, and Konga.
To my opinion, she is currently the most popular female Musician in Nigeria.

Yemi Eberechi Alade, born 13 March 1989, known professionally as Yemi Alade, is a Nigerian Afropop singer and songwriter. She won the Peak Talent Show in 2009, and had a hit with her single " Johnny " in 2014. Her father was a police commissioner of Yoruba descent, while her mother is of Igbo descent.
Omawumi Megbele, born 13 April 1982, known by her stage name Omawumi, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter and actress of Itsekiri ethnicity. She is a brand ambassador for Globacom , Konga.com , and Malta Guinness. She's also part of the campaign called "Rise with the Energy of Africa". She gained attention as the 2007 runner-up on West African Idols , a reality TV show part of the Idols franchise. Her second album, The Lasso of Truth, was reported to be a commercial success in Nigeria.
Omawumi rose to prominence as a contestant on Idols West Africa . Omawumi, with her strong voice and out-going personality, was voted the 1st runner-up of the competition when it ended in May 2007. Since then, she has had numerous performances on the stage with musicians such as P-Square , 2face Idibia , D'Banj , Banky W, M.I , Sasha, 9ice , Chaka Demus and Pliers, Carl Thomas, Angie Stone and Donell Jones , Angelique Kidjo , among others.
Chidinma Ekile, born 2 May 1991, known professionally as Chidinma , is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. In 2010, she rose to stardom after winning the third season of Project Fame West Africa.Following the release of the music video for her "Emi Ni Baller" single, she became the first female musician to peak at number 1 on the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 chart. In 2011, she released the Sound Sultan -assisted single "Jankoliko". Her eponymous debut album Chidinma was released through the music platform Spinlet; it was supported by the singles "Jankoliko", "Carry You Go", "Kedike" and "Run Dia Mouth". The album features guest appearances from Sound Sultan, Tha Suspect, Olamide and Muna . Chidinma won Best Female West African Act at the 2012 Kora Awards and performed "Kedike" at the ceremony.

Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua, born 21 December 1985, professionally known as Seyi Shay, is a Nigerian-based singer, songwriter and actress. She wrote and produced three songs for the soundtrack to Konami's video game Crime Life: Gang Wars (2005). She also wrote "You Will See", a song that was included on Melanie C 's third studio album Beautiful Intentions (2005). Shay wrote "White Lies", a song from Chip 's Transition album. In 2008, she became the lead singer for the now defunct pop girl group From Above. The group signed a recording deal with Sony 's Columbia Records and was managed by Mathew Knowles ' Music World Entertainment company. In November 2013, Shay signed an endorsement deal with telecommunications service provider Etisalat.
In July 2015, she signed a record deal with Island Records. Shay released her debut studio album Seyi or Shay in November 2015. It was supported by the promotional singles "Irawo", "Ragga Ragga", and "Chairman".

Aṣa, born Bukola Elemide 17 September 1982, is a Nigerian- French singer, songwriter, and recording artist. In 2004, Asa met her manager and friend, Janet Nwose, who introduced her to Cobhams Emmanuel Asuquo , who in turn became the producer of her first studio album Asa (Asha) .
Aṣa returned to France at the age of 20 to study at the IMFP school of Jazz music, where she was told by teachers that she should go ahead and become a recording artist because she was ready and needed no schooling. Back in Nigeria, her first single, "Eyé Adaba," was beginning to get airplay. Aṣa soon signed to Naïve Records. Partnered with Cobhams Asuquo, and with the new involvement of Christophe Dupouy and Benjamin Constant, she produced her first platinum selling self-titled album, Aṣa. On 14 May 2019, she released a new single titled "The Beginning" and on 25 June 2019 she released the single "Good Thing". On 11 September 2019, she announced on her Twitter page that her new album, Lucid , will be released on 11 October 2019.True to her words, the album was then released on 11 October 2019.
Aituaje Iruobe, known professionally as Waje , is a Nigerian singer whose vocal range covers three octaves. She first gained recognition after being featured on the remake of P-Square ’s "Omoge Mi".Waje was also featured on the duo's 2008 hit track "Do Me". Moreover, she contributed vocals to Banky W 's "Thief My Kele" and M.I 's "One Naira". In 2016, Waje was one of the four judges in the inaugural season of The Voice Nigeria.

Cynthia Ikponmwenosa Morgan, born 23 September 1991, popularly known by her previous stage name Cynthia Morgan, now Madrina, is a Nigerian born songwriter and singer.Her music is a fusion of pop, hip hop, dancehall and rap . She shot into limelight following the release of two singles titled "Don't Break My Heart" and "Lead Me On", which received massive airplay and positive reviews from critics. Cynthia made her acting debut in a 2016 Nollywood movie "The Wrong Number" Directed by Saint Joseph ovensehi, and Ay's comedy movie A trip to Jamaica.
The change of her stage name was effective after she launches her very own record label called “The Cynthia Morgan Company” TCMC.

Nneka is was born as Nneka Egbuna on December 24, 1980, in Warri, Nigeria.
She is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress who wrote most of her songs in English, Igbo, and Nigerian Pidgin.

She released her second studio album Simisola on September 8, 2017. Her third studio album Omo Charlie Champagne, Vol. 1 was released to coincide with her thirty-first birthday on April 19, 2019. She launched her record label Studio Brat in June 2019.
