Movies of course are made for several or different purposes. Some are made to entertain, while others are made to educate or tell stories about historical events and biography of heroes, legends, myths, or religion. So in this article, I will be sharing with you five movies that were made about legends and myths.

300 is a 2007 American epic historical action film whose plot tells the story of how King Leonidas of Greece led his 300 guards to battle against the Persian "God-King" Xerxes and his invading army of more than 300,000 soldiers at the battle of Thermopylae.
Alexander is a 2004 epic historical drama film based on the life of the Ancient Macedonian general and king Alexander the Great. This movie tells the story of the Ventures of Alexander the Great after Defeating the Persian Empire.
3. Helen Of Troy
Helen of Troy is a 2003 British-American television miniseries based on Greek mythology. It tells the story of how the woman who is said to be the most beautiful woman in the world, Helen of Sparta, and her eloping with lover, Paris of Troy led to the Trojan War.
Excalibur is a 1981 American epic medieval fantasy movie that retells the legend of King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table, and how he battled against his evil half-sister, Morgana.
5. Clash of The Titans
Clash of the Titans is a 1981 fantasy adventure movie based on the Greek myths of Perseus, the son of Zeus. This movie tells the story of how Perseus battled against supernatural forces in order to win the hand of the Princess, Andromeda.
