Their are some professions that the society restrict to a specific gender type for example it is rare to see a male hairdresser and it is also rare to see a female barber in Nigeria.
However multiple pictures of a female barber surfaced on the internet and it got a lot of Nigerians talking in the comment section of the post.
A Nigerian lady identified as @meejaysells on twitter took to her twitter account to share beautiful pictures of her cousin who is working as a barber in Lagos State and she also urged Nigerians to patronize her cousin.
Personally I find it surprising because it is very rare to see a beautiful female working as a barber and I also believe that she should serve as a role model to other unemployed ladies.
See multiple pictures of the Nigerian lady below:
This Nigerian lady deserves a kudos because instead of her to depend on her boys for money, she decided to open a shop and work as a barber.
In her words, @meejaysells said "Hey Tweeps, meet my cousin our very own Lagos female barber, she's new on this app. Y'all should pls follow and RT, her new clients are your TL..."
Many Nigerians on twitter admired the beauty of the Nigerian female barber while others promised to patronise her. A Nigerian twitter user identified as @agbeniprecious said "Wonders shall never end, I have never seen a lady barbing a male's hair but this is really wonderful".
