Popular Nollywood Actress, Omotola Jolade has shared her life experience with BBC Yoruba. She explained that she had to look for job at age 15 after the death of her father in order to support her mother.
Omotola revealed that she already has her own money before she got married to her husband at the age of 18.
She mentioned that she struggled to graduate from grammar school after the demise of her father. She explained that she had to take care of her two siblings and her mother.
Omotola Jolade Ekeinde revealed that there is nobody that can bear her name because it has a Trademark. She explained that she intentionally 'Trademark' Omotola because people used to impersonate the name in order dupe people.
She told BBC Yoruba that she wanted to Trademark 'Omo Sexy' before but Nigerian government has not accepted the name.
Omotola Jolade revealed that she can allow her any of her children who is ready and financially okay to go ahead to get married at the age of 18 like her. She stated that wisdom, character and money are needed in marriage.
She debunked the rumours that she was having affairs with former National chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole. She said she has not met with him before.
She, however, urged women not to relent in working harder.
