Co-host of popular TV breakfast show, Your View TVC revealed on Monday during the show that she and her husband had tested positive to Covid-19. Nyma Akashat made this known during the show as she made her appearance for the first time after a long while.
A lot of her fans had been curious to know why she suddenly stepped back from the show. It would be recalled that one of the co- hosts Yeni Kuti who is the daughter of legend Anikulapo Fela Kuti made mention one time during the show that Nyma had come in contact with someone who tested positive to the virus and has decided to stay off the show till her result is out.
YK was not far from the truth as Nyma confirmed that she just recovered from the virus alongside her husband.
The bold lawyer and mother of two recounted her experience suffering from the virus as her only main symptom was loss of her sense of smell and fatigue which followed later on. Her husband had the severe symptoms like difficultly in breathing, fever and weakness.
When asked how she lived through all those times, Nyma mentioned that she took a lot of herbs and continued with her daily routine which is to consume a mixture of lime, lemon, ginger, garlic, tumeric, carrots and other natural plants.
Thankfully Nyma's two children tested negative to the virus. Her husband is speedily recovering.
Unfortunately, Nyma lost her dad recently and she is still grieving. Viewers of the show are glad on her return and recovery.
