Nigeria is a country that is blessed with a lot of talents, especially in the entertainment industry. This year, two Nigerian singers won the Grammy Awards and in the coming years, the numbers might even go higher since new talents are being discovered in the "Giant of Africa" every day.
The newly discovered talent that has been trending for some days now is a 17-year-old Nigerian girl who is simply known as Salle. In this article we would be taking a look at how Salle went from being a street hawker to an upcoming superstar.
Earlier this month, Salle was only a hawker who earns a living by hawking from one street to another. However, the talented young lady was discovered in Owerri, where some people reportedly recorded her while she was singing and shared the video on an Instagram page they created for her.
Her lovely voice drew the attention of many people, including celebrities, and a week after sharing the video Salle went to gaining over 200,000 followers, and now, with only 4 videos on her Instagram page, the young girl has collectively attracted over 1.5 million views.
Salle recently took to Instagram to appreciate Davido, Don Jazzy, and Tunde Ednut for their support, as she also shared a video of herself singing a song and asked whether she should first release an EP or a single.
Earlier today, she also shared a video of herself in a studio with the caption "From Zero to Hero," and according to the video, it seems she is already making her first music video, as people who couldn't even wait to listen to her song stormed the comment section, asking her the title of the music she is working on.
There's no doubt that Salle is already an upcoming superstar, even without releasing a single music.
