The 28 years old Lagos state based celebrity David Adedeji Adeleke who is popularly known by his professional stage name Davido and OBO (Omo Baba Olowo), is widely regarded as one of Africa's biggest artiste.

Being one of Africa's most prominent stars, Davido has a very large fan base, filled with people from different parts of the globe. The 30 Billion Gang Boss took to his official page on twitter, to make a post where he prayed for his fans on the popular social media platform.

In Davido's post, the celebrity prayed that sometime in this year, their account balance will say "E Choke", Amen.

The pidgin english phrase "E Choke", is a very popular slang and currently trending on social media, and even used by people offline.

The slang was started by famous Nigerian artiste Davido himself. "E Choke" literarily translate "It Chokes" in the English language.

However, in pidgin language and street usage, the term "E Choke" is an exclamatory remark for something overwhelming or extremely impressive.
