Recall that Cross's mother flew back from Canada on Sunday when the big brother show was officially concluded, Cross during his stay in the show always talked about his mom and how he wanted to make her proud, he also made his fellow housemates know that his mother was an evangelist and that he would love to win the show to support her ministry.
Cross who is on his media rounds, received gifts which included an iPhone 13, Macbook, and a Cake from his fan, this gesture got Cross very happy, however, what gained the attention of everyone was the Bible which Cross's mom gave to him as a gift.
Many have aired their views about the Bible gift, while some see it as a good gift, many feel that Cross's mom should have given her son a better gift as his fans did.
However below are two points to note from the Bible Cross's mother gave to him as a gift.
1. God is the ultimate: although Cross has now attained fame and wealth from the big brother's show, receiving a gift from his mom would remind him of God.
Despite his newfound status, it would be important for Cross to always remember that God is everything, while some see the Bible as not the right gift to give, Cross's mother wants her son to always be in touch with God, and giving her son the Bible was the best gift.
2. To Remember who he is: with Cross's new-found status, he constantly needs to remember where he is from in order not to go stray, a lot of youths would certainly get carried away with the new status and fame that they might forget their background.
Cross's mother could have gotten her son any gift because she just returned from Canada, but giving her son the Bible is a gentle reminder that her son should not be carried away with his new status but to always remember where he is from.
