Desmond Elliot is a Nigerian actor, director, and politician who was born on February 4, 1974 in Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria. He received his primary education at Air Force Primary School and later attended St John's College, both in Jos. He completed his undergraduate studies at Lagos State University where he studied Economics. 
He has starred in over two hundred films and a number of television shows and soap operas. He is also an award winning actor who has been nominated for several awards.
He later ventured into politics. He was elected as a lawmaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Surulere Constituency, on the 11th of April, 2015.
