This is for the young, record breaker, passionate, committed, pace setter, purpose driven and heroine, Tolulope Oluwatoyin Sarah Arotile. The brilliant pilot like no other in the history of armed forces of Nigeria!
After watching the channel news @10 on Thursday, my soul shivered and shook down to its root as though the violent wind raged against it.
I was caught in some unpleasant moment of emotions as the replay of how this young, passionate, talented, and purposeful first female combat helicopter pilot in the history Nigerian Air Force, Tolulope Oluwatoyin Sarah Arotile's body was laid to rest played in my head.
I began to ruminate on the great loss that befell her family, Nigeria as a nation and how her patriotic spirit won't just waste into the thin air in the armed forces of Nigeria and among the Nigerian youths as a whole.
Meanwhile, regardless of stories attached to her demise; I was overwhelmed with her unflinching spirit of excellence towards self-actualization of dreams even with her short but impactful stay here on earth.
I have heard and read from inception perhaps some untrue stories about her demise but I have never and will never give myself to be hurt by any cooked or untrue stories or to promote unfounded theories about her death.
My believe and what I'm sure of is that God will never permit any event to unfold if He has no message(s) to pass across to humankind, which could be for reprove or for blessings.
Obviously, Tolulope has been the channel with which God used to pass across His messages to us in this season and at the other side of the coin, a fulfilment of her purpose.
Tolulope Oluwatoyin Sarah Arotile, is one of the child that every parent would love to spend years in Shiloh praying and lobbying to have from God.
She's a rear gem every one would love to have as his or her companion and learn from her spirit of excellence.
Apparently, she's such a lady that believed in God's potency and took action to travel on a road that is less traveled and created path in the wilderness of impossibilities for the upcoming youths and her contemporaries.
However, after the journey in the wilderness of impossibility, she eventually became an indispensable asset to the armed forces of Nigeria and a pride to Nigerians.
Now, my major concern is how would this stir the anger of a sense of responsibility in the young and promising Nigerian youths?
As you can see that with the record and history she broke or set during her lifetime, she's a lady that had let me say virtually everything it takes to flaunt or slay around on social media platforms and live a reckless lifestyle as many young lady do in our community today.
But no, she didn't!
I read that the young lady was going to get some photocopy of her documents done to sort out the arrangement about her redeployment and for her promotional exams before she kicked the bucket and finally breathe her last breath.
Can you imagine such commitment and a sincere answer to the clarion call of a complex national duty? Where we have some youths today who are not even committed to themselves not to talk of committing to the national duty.
Finally, my question to you is, are you on the purpose of God for your life?
How committed are you to it?
What do you even want to be remembered for?
For how long do you want your deeds or impacts speak after your transition into the glory of your creator?
However, all answers to the above questions can not be possible outside the person of Jesus Christ because in Him dwells all the fullness of God. Accepte Him today, believe in Him, trust Him and He'll land you safely in your land of destiny.
I pray that her unflinching spirit of excellence continues to drive all young, talented and promising Nigerian youths towards a purposeful and intentional living plus self-actualization of dreams.
Tolulope Oluwatoyin Sarah Arotile, kudos to you and your speaking impacts. I do hope that you're forever remembered and celebrated as heroine who served patriotically with all zeal in the armed forces of Nigeria history.
Tolulope Oluwatoyin Sarah Arotile, my God will console your family with His right hand of comfort and may your soul find an eternal rest in the bosom of your creator. You are forever loved!
