Meet The Female Islamic Singers Rocking The Industry

Islamic music is very popular and vibrant in Nigeria and the music has produced lot of notable names. The brand of music is gathering momentum everyday with new and upcoming acts emanated day by day.

In this article, I want xray the female Islamic singers making serious waves in the entertainment industry.

Alhaja Aminat Babalola: This beautiful singer is from Ila-Orangun, Osun State, her stage name is Omotayebi while others called her Iya Kekere Eko. Aminat is very creative artist with superb stage performance. She has released lot of albums with many awards to her credit.

Omotayebi is also blessed with sonorous voice.


Alhaja Maryam Akiki Oloriire: Anytime, anyday, Akiki is one of very vibrant and highly successful female Islamic singers. She is from Badagry. 

Akiki is married to another popular male singer, Alhaji Hassan Cisse Oloriire. Akiki is a multiple awards winning act and a key factor in Islamic music industry. 

The very beautiful and respectful Akiki has many Albums to her credit.

Queen Zeidat Almubaraq: This is arguably most beautiful female singer in Nigeria. Queen Zeidat currently based in US, she is very grounded in quaranic. Her father is an Islamic scholar. She is also award winning act with many albums.


Alhaja Mistura Aderounmu: This petit but very beautiful singer is a force to reckon with in the entertainment industry. She started music at very tender age. Her debut album 

'Teminisuccess' was a big hit, the album took over the music industry over 20 years ago

Mistura married to American based business mogul Akanfe. 

Another fascinating thing about her is her sonorous voice and superlative stage performance. The dark in complexion is a multiple awards winning act.

She has many albums to her credit.

Alhaja Rukayat Bashiri mi: The very dark and beautiful Bashiri mi is the wife popular Islamic singer, Ahmad Alawiye. Bashiri mi is a good composer and very humble. Her album Bashiri mi brought her to stardom many years back.

Mujeedat, is another fantastic female Islamic doing very well in the industry.

Twins mother is also a business woman with highest repute.

Alhaja Kifayat Singer: The Eruwa born singer is another creative singer and intellectual endowed singer with many records to her credit. Her first album 'Eni aye n fe' brought her to stardom. Singer is also another fantastic artist good at stage performance.

Alhaja Rodiyat Ajiboye: The Ireland based female Islamic singer is very talented and gifted singer with a lot of talents. The very beautiful woman is married to Mattew Ididowo, Pasuma's manager. Her first album titled 'Hello Olohun' was a big hit. She has also released more albums that sold very well.


Alhaja Azeezat Otibiya Treigh: Azeezat Otibiya started from quaranic school as the head Islamic band. She is also a very sonorous voice singer with many albums.

Otibiya married to popular music producer Treigh, she also converted her husband to Muslim.


Alhaja Aishat Ummu Niyass: Another dark act is a big name among the female Islamic singers in Nigeria. She has many albums to her credit with many awards. Aishat too is a good composer and very sonorous voice singer.


Alhaja Mufuliat Mojere: This another Ila-Orangun born artist who has carved a niche for self. She has released many albums and still waxing stronger everyday. Mojere also known as Omo Imam is another very beautiful singer.
