No doubt Nigeria is filled with many talented people, sadly there are no sponsors to help promote or support them. We have seen talented people who end up doing menial jobs instead of following their talents due to lack of sponsors.
Salle is a young girl whose singing video made the Internet 6 days ago. Salle's story is quite touching and can make one emotional. Before now, life hasn't been smooth for her and her family. At the young age of 17, salle has no choice but to hawk goods to support her mother.
Salle's story changed when she was stopped by a couple on her way back after the day's sales. The couple asked her if she was the girl who knew how to sing and she said yes. They played a beat for her and asked her to vibe to it. She didn't disappoint, she sang so beautifully and dazzled the interviewers
The video made its way to the internet and was posted by many top social media platforms. The video also drew the attention of popular celebrities like Tunde Ednut, comedian Ay, and many others. Salle's followers on Instagram have increased in the space of 6 days. As of the time of writing this piece, she has over 200 thousand people following her on her social media page.
To top it all, Salle was also the topic in Arise Television's The morning show where Reuben Abati, one of the hosts commended the young lady's talent. He also called on producer Don Jazzy to help her become a star. We all know Don Jazzy is a star-maker, he has made many young artists popular and rich. From all indications, Salle is a celebrity already as she has been the topic of discussion for days now. Once Don Jazzy or any other top producer picks her up, she is good to go.
Her story should be an inspiration to other talented people who are still struggling, to never give up. A day will come when their story would be heard just like Salle.
