Wizkid who started singing at age 11 during his days in the church as a young boy was professionally signed as an artiste by Banky Wellington to his record label, Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) in 2009. The 'Ojuelegba' crooner then released his first single under EME titled 'Holla at your boy' which is the lead single off his first studio album 'Super Star'.
The single became an instant monstrous hit that opened the door of greater career success for Wizkid, and since then he has never stopped rising to the top. And today, he is rated among the greatest artiste to have come out of the African continent.
