07-17 13:27:18In Deuteronomy chapter 14 from verse 22 to 29 (please read and share your understanding with me), God instructed the children of Israel to pay tithe. Verse 23 made it obvious that same person paying the tithe will also eat it (please verify). Verse 24 to 26 made it clearly that use of money to pay tithe is forbidden. It must be farm products like harvested crops, livestock, wine etc (please verify as well). Verse 27 strictly mentioned about Levites (today's reverends, clergy, pastors etc.). There is a sacred order attached to it. Levites (pastors) should not own any property of their own. Be it cars, schools, private jets etc. Verse 28 to 29 mentioned about foreigners, fatherless, widows, poor in our midst etc. as beneficiaries of those tithes together with your households. Though I personally see this religious obligation as ordinance of Jewish religion (Judaism) not Christianity. Christ did not teach or emphasize on tithe. Apostles didn't emphasize on tithe as well. So, on what foundation is Oyedepo and co building with tithe? My question is, with all those coveted properties, is Oyedepo still qualified as a levite to benefit from tithe considering the sacred order that levites should own no property of themselves. Secondly, who does Oyedepo remit his own ten percent to? Please let us read our Bible and open our eyes.

07-17 13:01:07Make una leave David O alone. Old habits die hard. This guy has been collecting tithes since 1983 and U want him to stop now? My brother it will be easier for Mallam Buhari to relocate to my village than for David O to stop taking tithe. As for David, even God Almighty can not change his stance on tithe! Arrant nonsense!! Tithe! Tithe!! Tithe!!!
