Aside that the superstar is a multiple award winning singer, Davido is also known for his brilliant and great speeches.
In 2018, the superstar won the international act award, beat ace musicians, including the African Bad Girl, Tiwatope Savage, better known as Tiwa Savage, the UK's Stormzy and others to pick up for the second time another BET award.
Davido didn't go home that blessed day with a trophy only but also earned respect, love and accolade for the wonderful acceptance speech he gave on the stage at the award show which was held on June 24, 2018 in Los Angeles California.
The singer in his speech encouraged the audience to come to Africa, said his continent has been so blessed to influence other cultures. He also talked about the foods and clothes after sending his condolences to D'banj, the Nigerian music star who lost his son that year.
"My country has been so blessed to influence many cultures, oh! Migos just left two years ago, I remember when they came, that was amazing mehn!. I'm telling you guys, yo! come to Africa, eat the food, wear the clothes" he said.
Weeks ago, the BET listed the 'If' crooner's statement among the greatest statements ever from the past BET Awards.
