There is a stage you get to in your profession that you feel the need to pass on the knowledge you have to the coming generation. This happens in all spheres of life but not everyone has the passion or capabilities to do so.
Many actors have film schools nowadays but there are some people to took it to another level by educating people at the tertiary level, sometimes, they teach Creative/Theater Arts and are inspirations to the students, other times, they pass on other knowledge that they are comfortable with.
Many of us know him as Saka, he is a very versatile actor who often adds comic to his acting. The 57 year old man who has been active for decades studied at Obafemi Awolowo University and the University of Ibadan, he is a lecturer in the department of theatre art at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education , Lagos State, Nigeria
2. Kola Oyewo
A very versatile actor who played an incorruptible officer in Koseegbe and a corrupt king in Saworo Ide. He is 75 years old as he was born in 1946, he is the head of the department of dramatic art at the Redeemer's University, he is also a performing arts lecturer at the Elizade University in Ondo State.
3. Tunji Sotimirin
This is another versatile veteran actor who is also living for art. He is not only into practicals, he is into the theoretical aspect as he is a lecturer in the University of Lagos, department of Creative Art.
4. Sam Dede
When I see him, the image that comes to my mind is that of Issakaba, what an actor! He has been active for over 25 years, he is a lecturer at the University of Port Harcourt where he taught popular actor, Yul Edochie.
5. Joke Muyiwa
She's known for taking very delicate roles like sorrowful ones, it takes a whole lot of work to be consistent in doing that. The actress who bagged her PhD Drama and Film Criticism at the Redeemer's University is a lecturer at the department of Performing Arts at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye.
