Nollywood Stars Who Met In The Industry And Got Married

Nollywood celebrities marrying each other can be seen as a natural occurrence within the industry due to shared experiences and a mutual understanding of the demands of fame.

Additionally, it can generate media attention and increase their public profile. However, it also raises concerns about the potential for drama and its impact on their personal lives. Here are some Nollywood stars who met in the industry and got married:

Florence and Iyke Okechukwu, prominent figures in the Nigerian film industry, crossed paths and developed a deep connection while working together on the highly acclaimed African soap opera, Tinsel.

In the show, they portrayed the beloved characters Ene and Chuks, respectively. Iyke Okechukwu, a renowned Nigerian thespian, gained widespread recognition for his outstanding performance as Chuks Obi in Tinsel.

He made his debut in the acting scene back in 2002 with a children's program titled "Fun Time" and subsequently appeared in "Wetin Dey" in 2007.

This further solidified his reputation as an accomplished actor. Their eight years of holy matrimony have graced them with the joy of parenting two children.

Mide Martins, an accomplished Nollywood actress and the daughter of the late Funmi Martins, is blissfully married to Afeez Abiodun Owo, an actor in the same industry.

In a recent interview, Mide Funmi Martins revealed that she was drawn to Afeez Abiodun, also known as Afeez Owo, her mother's former manager, because of his remarkable attributes.

The mother of two stated that her decision to marry Afeez Owo was based on his admirable qualities rather than his financial status or physical appearance, as he wasn't wealthy or particularly handsome at the time.

In her own words, she expressed, "He demonstrated himself to be trustworthy, devoted, affectionate, and possessing a kind heart. Additionally, his laid-back nature was a significant attraction for me. Considering all these factors, I decided to welcome him into my life."

As of September 8th, 2021, the couple had celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary. They are the proud parents of two charming daughters, Omotola Abiodun, and Anuoluwapo Abiodun. The couple faced a temporary separation, but they reconnected and reconciled in April 2016.

Linda Ejiofor, a Nigerian actress and model, and her beloved partner, Ibrahim Suleiman, co-starred in the popular MNet television drama, Tinsel. The couple exchanged vows on November 11, 2018, in a beautiful ceremony that was the envy of many.

Their relationship blossomed on the set of Tinsel, where they portrayed a loving couple. Linda Ejiofor had previously revealed to the media that she and Ibrahim had been friends for several years before taking their relationship to the next level.

She said their romantic involvement began after they grew closer on the set of the TV show.

Abiodun Ishola Thomas is a versatile performer who wears many hats as an actor, film producer, brand advocate, and director, whereas his spouse, Yewande Adekoya Abiodun, is an artist, filmmaker, and innovative content creator.

Yewande, who hails from Ososa-Ijebu, Ogun State, was born in Lagos State on January 20, 1984. The couple exchanged wedding vows in 2013, and since then, they have been blessed with two adorable kids.

They are a delightful and charming duo who are known for their affectionate relationship and amusing posts on their Instagram accounts. On February 14, 2021, Yewande Adekoya and Abiodun Thomas marked their 11th anniversary as lovers and their 8th year as a married couple.

Yewande can confidently declare that she tied the knot with her closest confidant and companion, the talented actor Abiodun Thomas. Together, they have successfully nurtured their household for eight wonderful years and are still going strong.
