Recognition by one's people and celebrated by them is a very big achievement and it helps in encouraging people to do more and belong better at what they do. A great recognition is giving is when a fellow is given a Chieftaincy title by his people for the good things he has done.

And for this titles to be given, they fellow must ascertain by as a more deserving person for the title.This recognition becomes more surprising when the title is given to a woman because it is said that women has no say when matters concerning the tradition of the people are discussed

But nowadays, reverse has been the case, women are only given the only to talk but also a seat at the cabinet meeting of the traditional ruler. Women like some of the nollywood actresses were privileged to be given a Chieftaincy title in their various communities for their contribution in promoting their culture, tradition and proper representation of the values of their communities.

1. Chika Ike

This talented and beautiful actress, Chika Ike was given the title of Akwa Ugo 1 of Amoli Kingdom in Enugu State in the year 2013 for her contribution to the growth and development of the Igbo culture and tourism in her state. She was conferred the title by a traditional ruler of Amoli kingdom.

2. Oge Okoye

This popular nollywood actress, Oge Okoye in 2013 was given a Chieftaincy title of "Igolo Nwanyi 1 of Amoli Kingdom" on Enugu State. Just like Chika Ike, she was conferred the title by the traditional ruler of Amoli Kingdom in Enugu state for her contribution to the growth of Igbo culture.

3. Genevieve Nnaji

The beautiful nollywood diva, Genevieve Nnaji was given the title of "Eze Ada" of Amuzu Nweafor in her hometown in mbaise, Imo state in 2014.

4. Tonto Dikeh

The fair skinned actress, Tonto Dikeh was conferred the title of "Adadioranmma 1 of Nollywood" in her hometown of Ikwerre, River State in 2017

5. Rachel Okonkwo

The beautiful actress, Rachel Okonkwo was conferred the title of " Ugo Oma Ndi Igbo 1 of Nsukka" in 2018 in her hometown of Nsukka, Enugu State.
