The recent death news regarding Nigerian Nollywood actors has become quite shocking news in the past few months. Just barely a month ago, Veteran Nollywood actor, Dada Sadiq was announced dead and now, Bruno Iwuoha is dead. According to his bio, Bruno Obinna Iwuoha hails from Ehime Mbano Local Government Area in Umunumo Umuanunu kindred, Imo state. He was 68 years old when he died, and survived by his wife and 6 children.
Bruno Iwuoha was reported to have kicked the bucket while battling prolonged diabetes. Following the news, a statement signed by the Director of Communications, Actors Guild of Nigeria, the person of Monalisa Chinda Coker, reads, “It is on a sad note that we announce the passing away of our elder colleague and active member of Actors Guild of Nigeria Abuja, Bruno Obinna Iwuoha.
It has also be noted that “He died in the early hours of this morning (10/04/2021) after a prolonged battle with diabetes. The National President, Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ejezie Emeka Rollas, has, however, said on behalf of the entire members of the Guild, he commiserates with the immediate family members, friends, and fans of Bruno Obinna Iwuoha.
Bruno Iwuoha's passing is coming quite shockingly after Nollywood lost Veteran performer, Sadiq Daba, who kicked the bucket on Wednesday, March 4 at a Lagos clinical facility who died of prostate-related illness. However, both deaths coming few weeks apart is indeed a great loss to both families, Nollywood and Nigeria at large.
