US Presidential Election 2020: Cher, Bon Jovi & Others To Appear At Star-Studded Concert For J Biden

As US Presidential Election 2020 draws near, the two presidential candidates from the two parties are deploying every means for campaigning to ensure that either one of them win. Joe Biden, the democratic candidate is not left out as well. And this time around, Joe Biden is using the power of entertainment to advance his presidential campaign. A slew of stars including Cher, Bon Jovi, the Black Eyed Peas, Dave Matthews, Ben Part, Lin-Manuel Miranda and others performed or appeared at an "I WILL VOTE" concert in support of Joe Biden, the democratic presidential candidate on Sunday 25th of October (last night).

Reportedly, George Lopez and political strategist Ana Navarro would host the event. Joe Biden, his wife Dr Jill Biden and his vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff put up an appearance also. Also, actors like Armie Hammar, Helen Mirren, Billy Porter, Amy Schummer and the cast of the Queer Eye attended this star studded concert in support of Joe Biden campaign as well.

The lineup of musical guests is: A$AP Ferg, Sara Bareilles, Aloe Blacc, the Black Eyed Peas with Jennifer Hudson, Bon Jovi, Cher, Ciara, Andra Day, Jermaine Dupri with Johntá Austin "and friends," the Foo Fighters, Macy Gray, Dave Matthews, Ben Platt and others, according to the Biden campaign.

Lin-Manuel Miranda, Maren Morris and Pink are among the special guests also appearing, the campaign said.

The stars appeared from a variety of locations. Their appearances are a mix of live and pre-recorded segments.

Fans are also donating any amount of money to the Joe Biden victory fund to attend the event, taking place Sunday evening by 8p.m EST. This is really heart warming for Joe Biden and his team and probably the biggest celebrity campaign so far for Joe Biden who is already 77 as the world awaits the Nov. 3rd presidential election. A good number of other stars already lend their support with virtual appearances (maybe due to the coronavirus pandemic).

Recall that, Kristen Bell and Ted Danson had a mini- The Good place reunion when they surprised Biden phone bank volunteer earlier this month. Also a number of cast from the Avenger film series came together in support of Joe Biden, the democratic presidential candidate with a virtual fundraiser. Other actors like Julia Louis-Dreyfus HBO'S cast also reunited and virtually raised funds to support the candidacy of Biden - Harris presidential campaign.
