3 Movie Villains That Outshined The Heroes In Famous Movies

Scene-stealing villains are required in every narrative to make blockbuster movies interesting. You may root for the hero, but the most interesting and compelling characters in movies are usually the villains.

1. The Joker (The Dark Knight Movie)

When it comes to villains upstaging heroes Heath Ledger's Joker is a strong contender for the most iconic example certainly in the 21st century. Of course, Ledger's tragic death has added extra resonance to his performance in The Dark Knight but it was ultimately an incredible performance. The Dark Knight cinema was famous for Joker's improvising scenes, the opening heist scene, the hospital explosion, and his now-famous 'do wanna to know how I got these scars' lines. Little do we know that The Dark Knight was technically about Batman assaulting Gotham's organized crime.

2. Terminator or The T-800 (The Terminator Movie)

Sarah Connor is a fantastic heroine, a complex charismatic survivalist full of raw anger, and the dominating character in The Terminator 2 sequel. But that's not the case in the first Terminator sequel. Arnold Schwarzenegger wasn't unknown when he took the role of Cyberdyne System Model 101 (The T-800) in 1984. But his role as the t-800 in The Terminator turns him into a household name.

3. Scar (The Lion King Movie)

Scar is a delightfully sadistic sarcastic antagonist with his voice dripping with contempt for everyone around him in The Lion King franchise. The now-iconic film was a story of a lion cub, Simba trying to succeed after his father, Mufasa but there's no denying that Scar absolutely stole the show. It is a legendary scenery-chewing performance from Jeremy Irons boasting one of Disney's best villains ever.
