As an entertainer or artiste, you are expected to be versatile with your output irrespective of your believe or language, because you can't predict where your fans base would emanate from. This is why it is so hard to know the religion/believes that some Nigerians artiste are practicing. Examples of those artistes are; Olamide, 9ice, Naira Marley, Reminisce and Sound Sultan. 

Because of the style of his music and his way of fashion, Naira Marley must have been misinterpreted by many young Nigerians. There was a time when he came to the limelight, everyone that associated with him as fan (The Marlians) were believe to be thug. He was also believed to be a cult member or that he did not attend a university etc. He studied in England and a distinction graduate at that.

As his name implies, Azeez Adeshina Fashola is a Muslim and a devoted one at that. During the Ramadan fasting, he was seen carrying out his obligation as a devoted Muslim should do. About if he is a Muslim or not, he made a post recently on his twitter page where he affirmed that he is a Muslim but he believes in Jesus.

This attracted much reactions from his followers, one of his followers identified as Ibraheem replied him by saying if the artiste is a true Muslim, it shouldn't be big deal to believe in Jesus because all Muslim believe in Jesus.

Now the point I see people making on Naira Marley's post is that, Christians knows Jesus as their savior and Also Muslims believe that he was a prophet that was sent by God to his people at that time he came. Both religion acknowledge that he was God's sent.
