
Bollywood actor Irfan Khan known internationally for his roles in the hit films Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi and Jurassic World, has died at the age of 53.


He was known for his nuanced and understated performances, with many calling him one of India's most talented actors. He was one of he most popular actors in India.
Not only was he a highly respected actor, He was one whom all cast members of all his movies loved.
However unfortunately in 2018, the actor revealed he had a neuroendocrine tumour, a rare cancer.
This was followed by a treatment in a London hospital for the illness, which affects cells that release hormones into the bloodstream.
Since then Khan had been in intensive care in a Mumbai hospital since Tuesday with a colon infection.
He however passed away on the 28th of April, 2020.
This unfortunate situation shocked not only his family members but also India as a whole. People have been sad since they heard of this information all his former cast members have shown how sad they are over what had happend.
May his soul rest in peace.
