It's no longer news that Whitemoney emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija Reality Show Season 6, but what is preventing him from appearing on the trend table is what I don't understand.
As the winner of the show, he should be trending more than any other housemate. This is because he is perceived to have the biggest fan base who made him the winner. His fans should be creating different hashtags to keep him relevant on social media platforms.
By this time last year, Nengi, Mercy Eke, Tacha, Laycon, Vee, Erica, Tolanibaj, Prince, Kiddwaya and Dorathy were dragging the trend table. Mercy Eke and Tacha even dominated the table to the extent that I usually tune to the radio to listen to the housemate's media rounds.
A tour on Twitter shows that the housemates who have been trending effortlessly since the show ended are Liquorose and Emmanuel. There is no day you will visit Twitter without seeing different hashtags created for them.
Whitemoney, as the winner, should not be left out of the trend. It's either people voted for him out of pity, or his management is not performing their duties to keep him relevant.
What do you think could be preventing Whitemoney from appearing on the trend table? Kindly use the comment box and air your views. Thanks for reading.
