Kingdom Kroseide has been crowned 2021 Nigerian Idol and will receive N50 million rewards.

Following the expulsion of Akunna Okechukwu, the singer qualified for the finale alongside Francis Atela last week. Kingdom, a computer science student at the Federal University of Otuoke, received a recording deal, a music video shoot for three songs, and over N50 million in rewards, including a N30 million cash award and a brand new SUV, as a result of his triumph.

Kingdom remarked of his victory, "My grandma used to say one day you'll be really wonderful." Then she passed away. And I was on the verge of giving up. But I'd like to express my gratitude to the judges for believing in me and to my fellow competitors for pushing me.”

According to John Ugbe, CEO of MultiChoice Nigeria, Nigeria has a wealth of talent, as seen by the Kingdom's triumph. “We are proud of Kingdom's accomplishments on the show. His victory demonstrates how much amazing potential there in Nigeria,” Ugbe added.

“At MultiChoice, we are dedicated to assisting Kingdom, as well as the other competitors who participated, in realising their full potential and launching them to a much larger audience.” Ayra Starr, Patoranking, Chike, and Cobhams Asuquo were among the stars who performed during the finale.
