Definitely, one of the recent news that went viral on social media platforms is the news about the detention of veteran Nollywood actor, Chiwetalu Agu who got arrested by Nigerian army. The news generated mixed reactions from Nigerians especially Nollywood lovers and film makers before the actor was freed. While others are sharing their opinion about the detention saga, Emeka Rollas and Shan George also reacted to it by revealing the mistakes Chiwetalu Agu made.
1. Wearing Biafra regalia in public; while the president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas was reacting to the Mr. Agu's arrest, he opposed the veteran actor's act and claims that he shouldn't have put on such outfit after knowing the current security situation in the South East. In Emeka's conversation with Vanguard, he said "I don't know why he put on Biafra regalia. The state is hot."Photo credit: Instagram @emekarollas
2. Denying a pure fact: while the Nigerian army were interrogating Chiwetalu Agu on why he wore an outfit with Biafra flag, the actor denied the fact that he was campaigning for IPOB by saying that he was just wearing a dress with a rising sun. His statement got actress Shan George's attention and she reacted to it by asking Mr. Agu to admit that he was wearing a Biafran cloth. She further stated that he was fighting for freedom and shouldn't be afraid of what he stood for.
What do you think about Emeka Rollas and Shan George's reactions to the detention saga?
