The Big Brother Naija reality TV show will start on July 24, and the organizer, Multichoice, has also revealed that SMS voting would not be used this season.
This sixth season is jam-packed with new content, as the show will debut in two parts for the first time.
The first launch will take place on Saturday, July 24, while the second will take place on Sunday, July 25.
This season, the organizers have also announced that there will be no SMS voting; instead, fans will be able to vote online and on the MyDStv and MYGOtv apps.
Viewers in the United Kingdom will be able to watch the performance live for the first time via Showmax, an African online streaming service.
“With each season of BBNaija, we challenge ourselves on creating outstanding content that would take the excitement a notch higher and suit the entertainment needs of our customers,” said John Ugbe, Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria.
“For this sixth season, we're pulling out all the stops to bring our customers a show unlike anything they've ever seen from Nigeria, complete with end-to-end production best practices that adhere to global health and safety standards.”
This season will run ten weeks, with roommates living together and competing for a grand prize of N90 million in cash and prizes.
