Why make such a request? Well, the answer to that question isn't far fetched. The gym is a place to exercise like you actually want to kill yourself, so listening to Timaya's "I can't kill myself" while working out might encourage laziness.
To the best of our knowledge, it's all love between Sarkodie and Timaya, as the two music stars do not have any known history of bad blood between them, and they have even had a music collaboration. So this is not one of those Ghana Jollof vs. Naija Jollof fight, and it is good to see that their fans also understand that it's all bants and fun.
See below screenshots of some fans' reaction to Sarkodie's funny tweet:
Timaya's "I can't kill myself" is relatively old, but still gold. In fact, the song is one of Cardi B's take away from Nigeria when she visited the country in December 2019. The American rapper couldn't keep the song out of her mouth even after she returned to her country.
Personally, do you think that it is advisable to listen to Timaya's "I can't kill myself" while at the gym?
