Losing someone so close to one's heart is a heartbreaking experience. When you take a step back and realize that the one person who has always been there for you in difficult times is no longer there, it takes a long time to recover from such feelings.
This was the case following the death of the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip who died on Friday, April 9th, 2021, after a 99-year journey on this planet.
Prior to his marriage to Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip was the Prince of Greece. Following the death of King George VI, Queen Elizabeth II had to assume the title of Queen of England, while her husband assumed the title of Duke of Edinburgh.
The Queen had been married to her husband for 75 years when he passed away. According to the Telegraph, Prince Philip will not be laid to rest until the Queen, who is 94 years old, passes away, so that they can be together forever.
