Cubana Chiefpriest, real name Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, had yesterday [24 Oct.] on Instagram called out the reality TV star for allegedly snatching his sister’s husband Kelvin.
As of this writing, Maria has yet to comment on the allegations.
But in a follow-up post, the Nigerian entertainer and business has shared conversations purportedly between Maria and Maryanne.
In the chats, Maria apologises to the married woman, telling her she should let go of everything she had heard or been told. Maria said she wished Maryanne the best and urged her to work things out with her husband Kelvin, who was the social media handler of the housemate while she was on the BBNaija show.
“I want you to be at peace that’s why I am messaging you,” Maria tells the mother-of-two, adding: “I’m sorry and pray God blossoms you union more Amen.”
Maryanne, who was clearly not buying into what Maria said, told her: “You are a devil in disguise.” She also said, “you two can wallow in your lies,” referring to Kelvin.
Maryanne filed for divorce on 23 September 2021 after discovering that her husband Kelvin was the one who sponsored Maria in the BBNaija show and that the two had been living together in Dubai, according to Cubana Chiefpriest who shared the court documents.
While in the BBNaija House, Maria said she had been living in Dubai for the last eight years, dealing in real estate. Although very popular, the former air hostess left the BBNaija show early on in what many believed was perhaps the most surprising eviction of the reality TV show.
Meanwhile, check out the chats below.
