The competition or comparison between both music stars, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid and David Adeleke, better known as Davido is not ending anytime soon. Even if this ends between them, their fan bases won't stop having conversations about it and fighting each other over whom ones the crown between their favourite artists.
In many ways and different occasions, Davido has always been coming before Wizkid. For instance, Davido's followers on Instagram and Twitter are far more huge than those of Wizkid's and Davido even has the most viewed video on YouTube in sub-saharan Africa.
A list of top 15 African artists, based on global views was released and the only Nigerian artists who made the list are Burna Boy and Davido. Wizkid was nowhere to be found.
And now, Davido is leading the Star Boy again! The list of Instagram top earners is out and the gap between the 'If' crooner and the 'Ojuelegba' singer is overwhelming.
Topping the list are The Rock, Kylie Jenner, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Nigeria's very own, Davido landed in the 47th position to become the second most paid celebrity in Africa with only Mo Salah ahead of him, the Egyptian footballer, who landed in the 34th position.
Wizkid's number on the list is 67 which means the difference between their positions on the list is 20. The gap between him and Davido is quite huge. And to my surprise, Tiwa Savage, Funke Akindele and Yemi Alade were placed above him. Take a look at some screenshots below.
