Nigerian girl contesting for American Idol, Funke Lagoke was taken to the hospital after fainting and falling flat on her face shortly after her performance with her co singer Ronda Felton on the Monday night's version.
The horrifying event took place while she was getting feedback from the judges of the event after her electrifying performance with her co contestant and duet partner.
In a short video from the scene, Lagoke's hands could be seen shivering as a judge Lionel Richie was analysing their performance of "Tell Him."
“Funke, you got yourself to the end. The problem is ... ” Richie said before Lagoke fainted, landed with an sounding thud.
Richie, and Panelist Luke Bryan a medical staff immediately rushed to the stage to help Lagoke, before she was finally taken to the hospital for medical checkup and treatment.
Nigerians and well wishers across the world has taken to social media to pray for for the young lady, wishing her quick recovery...
However, some social media users trolled her, saying she might be hungry, while some say she is not used to the American life...
