Rachel Akosua Funmilola Garton, popularly known by her stage name Lola Rae, is a Nigerian born singer and dancer of Ghanaian and British descent.

Lola Rae was born and raised in Obalende, Lagos, Nigeria to a British father and a Ghanaian mother. She started and finished her primary and secondary school education in Nigeria, before leaving for England age 15 to complete her tertiary education where she studied fashion textiles.

Lola Rae began her career as a dancer with dance group Mystikal. She went solo and released debut single "Watch my Ting Go" on November 19, 2012.

Other lead singles of the singer includes High (featuring Bridge), Fi Mi Le (featuring Iyanya), You know what my name is, to mention just few.

In May 2018, she welcomed a daughter whose father is popular Nigerian musician Tekno, she named her daughter Skye Yaa Amaka Kelechi.
