Earlier, I made a post that popular Instagram comedian known as Mr Macaroni paid a home visit to Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi ( Ojaja II ) in his palace. Now Ooni of Ife has graciously featured in his latest skit which he gave a valuable lesson on the age long tradition of prostrating in Yoruba.
Mr Macaroni has in his comedy skits usually rebuff and stopp whoever attempts to kneel or prostrate for him, saying in in usual words "Stop it, we don't kneel anymore".
It appears Ooni of Ife has decided to reach out through him and correct the wrong impression that kneeling and prostrating for your elders are no longer in vogue or have become redundant.
In the new comedy skit which he featured, Mr Macaroni wanted to toast a lady by agreeing he can do any work she wants. So the lady now takes covered his eyes led him where her supposed father is, unknown to him, her father was the King.
Not recognizing where he was standing, the girl wanted to kneel but he held her from doing that which now made one of the king's man servant to draw his attention. Immediately, he prostrated fully for the king.
The now gave a valuable lesson about prostrating for elders in the present time. In his words;
We from Yoruba land and all over the world, when you see an elder, you must respect them. You must kneel and prostrate.

The video has gotten people talking about the hard lessons Oni of Ife gave out through the video and appreciated him for reinforcing the culture of greeting and prostrating for elders.
See the reactions;
